‘  I no longer desire to build and live in a castle, for I have walked through the grandest cathedral of all; these precious mountains are my home’.

  These are the words of Michael M. Rogers, a native of Franklin, North Carolina and the Featured Artist of this year’s 21^st "Hard Candy Christmas" Art & Craft Show.  For 30 years Michael has been a watercolor artist, graphic designer, and photographer.  His company "Share the Beauty" is dedicated to the education, promotion, and preservation of our national forests, natural resources and regional history.  His newest project is a series of DVD movies which feature many  mountain landmarks.  He will premier the new documentary "Civil War Letters"  at the show as well.  Michael's gallery is located at 1511 Highlands Road, Franklin, NC.  His web site is www.sharethebeauty.com
